Commonly called "invisible bra's", LEXshield covers the leading edges of a vehicles' painted surface to help protect your vehicle from damage from rocks, abrasions, bug acids, and weather. Many competitors offer similar products but there is only one LEXshield. A 5 year warranty ensures that the film will not crack, yellow, shrink, or peel. LEXshield does not alter your vehicle's aerodynamic Appearance. It is also UV resistant.

How is LEXshield applied?
The vinyl urethane film is pre-cut into design to fit your vehicle. The painted surface is moistened with an application solution; the pre-cut film is then moved and stretched into position. The solution is removed with a squeegee, leaving the LEXshield material bonded to the vehicle.
Will my paint fade differently under the shield than on the rest of the vehicle?
No, the LEXshield contains an inhibitor to prevent the film from reacting to the sun's UV rays, but this does not prevent the UV rays from passing through the film to your paint.
Can I take my car through a car wash or wax it?
You can do any thing to LEXshield that you normally do to the rest of the vehicle's finish. LEXshield will accept wax and polish just as your vehicles paint does and it will last longer with regular application.
How long will it last?
LEXshield carries a 5 year warranty. The same factors that affect the life of your vehicle's paint also affect LEXshield.
